Custom software and AI tools, built around the way your business actually works.
I'm Axel, a software developer based on the Isle of Man. I work with established businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf systems and want practical software, designed around how their team already runs things.

What I do
Three kinds of work I take on.
Most of what I build falls into one of these. If your project fits, it's probably worth a conversation.
- 01
Custom software
Booking systems, customer portals, internal dashboards, and the everyday tools your team relies on. The kind of software you commission when off-the-shelf options have stopped fitting — like a patient management system for a clinic, or a single dashboard that pulls together three of the systems your team currently jumps between.
- 02
AI tools and automations
Practical AI woven into your existing tools and processes. Not chatbots — the genuinely useful work: sorting and prioritising tasks, surfacing the right information at the right time, and automating the parts of the day that shouldn't really need a person at all.
- 03
Ongoing engineering support
An ongoing relationship for founders and operators who'd rather have one trusted person they can call than another agency to manage. Steady weekly progress, regular check-ins, and someone who owns the outcome with you.

SkinClinic
A bespoke booking and consultation tool for an Isle of Man aesthetics clinic. Replaces a tangle of spreadsheets, paper forms, and missed phone calls with a single system the front desk can actually run on.
CONTENT_TODO: one clear outcome (e.g. bookings per month, hours saved each week).

How I work
Simple, predictable, no surprises.
Four steps from first conversation to live software. You always know where the project stands and what happens next.
- 01
First conversation
A free 30-minute call. We talk through what you're trying to do and whether I'm the right person to do it. No slide deck, no sales pitch.
- 02
Clear proposal
Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. You see exactly what you're getting and what it will cost before committing to anything.
- 03
Build
Steady weekly progress you can see and try out. No long silences, and if anything is slipping, you hear it from me first.
- 04
Launch and support
I stay on for 30 days after launch to handle anything real-world use uncovers. After that, ongoing support or a clean handover — whichever suits you.
Engagement
Straight talk on what this costs.
No tiered packages and no “starting from” pricing. Here's the honest range so you can decide quickly whether it makes sense to talk.
Projects start at £5,000 and typically run £15,000 – £50,000 depending on scope. I take on a small number of builds each quarter to keep the quality of the work high.
If your budget is below this, I won't be the right fit — and I'll happily point you toward someone who is. If it's within range and your project sounds interesting, I'd like to hear about it.
